What better way to start 2020 off right than getting the family on board to jump on a plan to improve overall mental and physical health? I'm very excited to share that my newest book Family Fit Plan is now available in bookstores. It is a family-focused, science-based guide to help you improve the area(s) that matter most to your family's health -- nutrition, fitness, sleep, stress management, and screen time. It is organized as a 30-day plan with activities and tools to help you make healthy changes and have fun doing it!
The reason I wrote the book is 2-fold: 1) My family needed a plan to optimize our health and well being and these are the steps that what worked for us! and 2) I work with lots of families and patients who also wanted to improve their physical and mental health, and this is what worked for them too. I put it all together as a guide that can be used once, or over and over again as we continually improve.
While I would love for you to get and read my book, I also want to reach as many people as I possibly can. So over the next several weeks, I'm going to share here some of the strategies, tips, tricks and tools that make up the Family Fit Plan.
